An investigation is underway into a car accident that left one person injured during the afternoon hours of October 3rd. According to official reports, Patricia Glenn-Blair was travelling in a Honda Cr-V on Telephone Rd. in the westbound lanes, at the Wintergreen Rd. intersection, when a Audi A4 coming from the westbound lanes of Telephone Rd failed to yield the right-of-way when turning and struck Glenn-Blair.
As a result of the impact, both vehicles sustained significant damage, and the driver of the Audi left the scene. When first responders arrived they found that Glenn-Blair had sustained serious injuries and transported her to the hospital. At this time there has been no further information released from the accident, including the status of Glenn-Blair’s injuries and whether any charges or citations will be filed.
