San Antonio, TX — July 2, 2023, Oscar De La Garza was fatally injured due to a motorcycle accident at around 10:00 p.m. along Culebra Road.

According to preliminary statements from authorities, the crash happened in the area of the Culebra Road and NW 27th Street intersection.

Oscar De La Garza Killed in Motorcycle Accident in San Antonio, TX

Initial reports indicate that 64-year-old Oscar De La Garza was on a Harley-Davidson that was going eastbound along Culebra. From the center turn lane, it appears an oncoming vehicle attempted to make a left turn, entering the path of Garza’s vehicle. As a result, the vehicles collided, ejecting Garza.

Garza sustained fatal injuries due to the collision. Authorities did not confirm whether or not the other driver was hurt. Currently, there is no confirmed contributing factor for the crash. Investigations have yet to provide additional details.
