How Did This Accident Occur?

Most people would assume this crash was caused the motorcyclist’s own recklessness, based on prevalent stereotypes about motorcyclists. But I’ve seen enough of these crashes to know that motorcyclists tend to be more careful than other drivers because they know they are more vulnerable on the road than people driving cars or trucks.

This crash deserves a thorough investigation so the injured motorcyclist and his family will know as much as possible about this crash.

In my experience, it would be helpful if the investigator assigned to this accident has experience with motorcycle accidents because of their unique dynamics. It is important to thoroughly document the scene to determine what happened.

An in-depth inspection of the motorcycle could determine if a mechanical issue contributed to this crash, but only if authorities request one.
