Hanford, CA — May 17, 2023, one person was killed in a collision with a semi-truck around 7:15 p.m. at Sixth Avenue and Hwy. 198 in Hanford.
Sources report the victim’s Chrysler and the 18-wheeler were both northbound on Sixth Avenue when the semi-truck allegedly slowed to make a right-hand turn onto Hwy. 198. The Chrysler then purportedly rear-ended the truck.
The victim suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the accident scene.
Reports indicate authorities have not determined the cause of the crash.
