Broward County, FL — May 31, 2023, a truck driver was killed in a single-vehicle, rollover truck accident in the afternoon on U.S. Highway 27 in Weston.
Authorities report a dump truck hauling some sort of gravel or sand overturned while traveling northbound on the highway. The rollover reported occurred near mile marker 39, about 12 miles west of Coral Springs and about 12 miles north of Weston, FL.
Officials may be withholding the victims’ names until the next of kin is notified.
Additionally, reports indicate authorities have not determined the cause of the crash.
