Santa Clarita, CA — June 17, 2026, one person was injured in a truck accident at about 2 a.m. on Interstate 5.
Authorities said a Ford van was heading south near Rye Canyon Road when it crashed into the back of a semi-truck, becoming wedged under its trailer.
The van driver, whose name has not been made public yet, was hospitalized with serious injuries after being extricated from the wreckage, according to authorities.
No other injuries were reported.
Authorities have not released any additional ifnormation about the Los Angeles County crash at this time.
