Von Ormy, TX — May 14, 2023, one person was injured in a collision with a semi-truck around 3:01 a.m. on I-35 southbound in Von Ormy.
According to officials, the victim’s Honda Civic was southbound while a Peterbilt semi-truck was northbound when the two vehicles allegedly collided head-on. The collision reportedly caused the semi-truck to jack-knife and block all lanes and it also purportedly forced the Civic to rotate 180 degrees.
The Honda Civic driver was reportedly taken to a medical center with serious injuries.
Authorities have not released the cause of the crash at this time.
