Midland, TX — April 9, 2023, one person was injured in a collision with a drunk driver around 11:37 p.m. on State Loop 250 in Midland.

Authorities report the victim was traveling south in a Nissan when rear-ended by a Ford Flex. The collision reported forced both the Nissan and the Ford Flex to rotate 180 degrees. Both vehicles came to a stop facing north.

The driver of the Nissan was reportedly seriously injured while the Flex driver was reportedly uninjured.

Police recommended charging te Flex driver with Driving While Intoxicated.
