Georgetown, TX — December 1, 2022, one person was seriously injured in a car accident around 12:36 p.m. on Williams Dr. in Georgetown.
According to officials, the victim was in an eastbound Honda CR-V in the left lane when it was struck by a northbound Dodge Charger that was exiting a gas station parking lot. The driver-side of the Charger’s nose purportedly hit the passenger-side headlight on the Honda CR-V.

The CR-V driver reportedly suffered serious injuries and was taken to a hospital.
Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
The speed limit for Williams Dr. is 35 mph and the Dodge Charger was allegedly pulling out of a parking lot. It seems odd that the victim would suffer incapacitating injuries in such a low-speed accident where the impact was on the passenger side of their vehicle. My hope is that someone can investigate the Honda CR-V to see if there is any possible defect in its safety mechanisms.
