Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
When it comes to pedestrian accidents, my concern is whether the incident is getting the attention it deserves. Too often, people only think of these situations in terms of who had the right-of-way. That’s obviously important, but like any serious accident, all angles need to be considered. This can include anything from driver distraction to issues with signage or road design to visibility limitations to alcohol. At the end of the day, the victim’s loved ones deserve to know nothing has been overlooked just because it seems unlikely. They deserve to know they’re getting the full story.
