Garland, TX — June 5, 2023, one person was killed as the result of an 18-wheeler accident at around 3:30 a.m. along I-30.
Investigators with the Garland Police Department said that the incident took place near Broadway Boulevard along both eastbound and westbound lanes of I-30. Right now, the exact details surrounding the crash are unclear.
Statements from authorities at this time say that an 18-wheeler was going eastbound at the time when it somehow left its lane and crashed into the median barrier. The truck smashed through the barrier, protruding into westbound lanes before coming to a stop.
