Harris County, TX — February 26, 2024, Nicholas Purtell was injured in a motorcycle versus car accident just after 5:00 p.m. along Chisholm Trail.
According to authorities, 39-year-old Nicholas Purtell was traveling on an eastbound motorcycle along Richcrest Drive approaching the Chisholm Trail intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, a southbound Jeep Cherokee on Chisholm Trail failed to yield the right of way to Richcrest Drive traffic, entering the intersection at an unsafe time. This resulted in a collision between the front end of the Jeep and the left side of the motorcycle.
Nicholas incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the accident. He was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
