Dallas, TX — March 22, 2024, Natasha Leonard was injured in a hit-and-run car accident at approximately 12:00 noon along RL Thornton Freeway.
According to authorities, 32-year-old Natasha Leonard was traveling in a southbound Ford Focus in the center of five lanes of RL Thornton Freeway, I.H. 35E, in the vicinity south of 12th Street when the accident took place.

Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, a southbound Chevy Malibu which had been traveling in the lane directly to the right of the center lane allegedly made a lane change at an unsafe time. This resulted in a collision between the right side of the Ford and the left side of the Chevy. The collision caused the Ford to veer left, colliding with the concrete retaining wall on the left side of the roadway.
The person(s) in the Malibu reportedly fled the scene, failing to stop and render aid of any sort to the victim. Leonard incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the wreck. She was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment.
