Hillsville, VA — November 27, 2024, four people were injured in a multi-vehicle truck accident at approximately 2:00 a.m. along Interstate Highway 77.
According to authorities, he accident took place in the southbound lanes of Interstate Highway 77 in the vicinity south of State Highway 820.

Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a collision occurred between five separate vehicles, one of which was reportedly an 18-wheeler. Reports state that the Semi-truck went off of the roadway and down an embankment, overturning before coming to a stop.
The person who had been in the 18-wheeler suffered serious injuries over the course of the accident and was flown to an area medical facility for immediate treatment. Three other people who were involved in the wreck sustained injuries as well; they were transported by EMS to local medical facilities for care.
