San Jose, CA — June 4, 2023, one person was killed as the result of a motorcycle versus truck accident at around 3:30 p.m. along Old Oakland Road.
Preliminary details about the crash were given by the San Jose Police Department. They say that the collision happened in the area of the Old Oakland Road and Golden Wheel Park Drive intersection.
Authorities suggested that the incident happened as a man was on a motorcycle that was going northbound along Old Oakland. Somehow, the motorcycle crashed into a truck. That truck was said to be parked and unoccupied.
The motorcyclist was thrown from the bike and sustained injuries which ultimately proved to be fatal. No other injuries were reported. The exact cause of the accident remains unclear.
