Houghton County, MI — October 14, 2023, a motorcyclist was injured following a truck accident that happened at around 7:00 p.m. on U.S. Highway 41.
Authorities gave preliminary statements on the accident, saying it occurred at the intersection of U.S. 41 and Sheridan Place.
According to officials, a Clay, MI, man was on a motorcycle said to be going along the highway. Up ahead, authorities believe a truck pulled in front of the motorcycle, resulting in a collision.
The motorcyclist reportedly went to a Portage hospital with unspecified injuries. There were no other reported injuries. Currently, authorities say they believe alcohol was a factor in the crash, however they did not report any pending charges. No further information is available at this time.
