Houston, TX — April 4, 2024, a motorcyclist was killed following a hit-and-run car accident at approximately 10:00 a.m. along MLK Boulevard.

According to authorities, a 36-year-old man was traveling on a southbound motorcycle on Martin Luther King Boulevard in the vicinity of Belfort Avenue when the accident took place.

Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a northbound Cadillac occupied by a 32-year-old woman on Martin Luther King Blvd. attempted a left turn at an apparently unsafe time. This resulted in a collision between the passenger vehicle and the motorcycle. The woman from the Cadillac allegedly fled the scene on foot, neglecting to render aid of any sort to the victim. However, reports state that she later turned herself in to authorities. Incurred fatal injuries as a result of the wreck and was declared deceased at the scene.
