Houston, TX — May 4, 2024, one person was killed following a motorcycle versus car accident shortly before 10:00 p.m. along the Gulf Freeway, I.H. 45.
According to authorities, a man was traveling on a northbound Kawasaki Motorcycle on Gulf Freeway in the vicinity of Alameda Genoa Road when the accident took place.
A Jeep Renegade occupied by a 25-year-old man which was also traveling northbound on the freeway apparently changed lanes; a collision followed between the motorcycle and the back-end of the Jeep. The wreck caused the motorcyclist to be ejected from the vehicle. He reportedly suffered fatal injuries as a result. The driver of the Jeep was transported to a local hospital by EMS in order to receive treatment for apparently non life-threatening injuries.
