San Antonio, TX — August 24, 2024, Moses Garcia was injured following a motorcycle accident at around 10:45 p.m. along U.S. Highway 90.
Investigators said that the incident took place in the area of U.S. 90 and Los Galapagos, just west of the Loop 410 interchange.

According to officials, 44-year-old Moses Aaron Garcia was on a Harley-Davidson going eastbound along the U.S. 90 access road. It appears a silver Nissan Frontier entered the motorcycle’s path from a gas station, causing Garcia to lose control. The motorcycle crashed, seriously injuring Garcia.

Authorities have not said if they’ve located the pickup involved in the accident. If the vehicle left the scene, there needs to be more public statements on what happened here. Oftentimes, hit-and-runs reach conclusions because someone in the community is able to connect the dots and identify the driver. If authorities are too quick to move on to other priorities, they can leave victims and families looking for other avenues through which to get the answers they deserve. It’d be a shame of a reckless driver was let off the hook simply because authorities weren’t giving the accident enough attention.
