Brazoria County, TX — June 26, 2025, Monica Davenport was injured as the result of a car accident at around 4:50 p.m. along Velasco Boulevard.
Authorities said in their initial statements that the accident occurred in the area of the Velasco Boulevard and 10th Street intersection.
According to officials, 67-year-old Monica Davenport was in a Toyota Corolla going northbound on Velasco Boulevard. Authorities say that a Ford F-150 going eastbound failed to control speed, resulting in a collision with the Toyota.
Monica Davenport reportedly sustained serious injuries due to the crash. The other driver reportedly wasn’t injured. No further information about the crash can be confirmed at this time.
