Harris County, TX — May 12, 2023, Miranda Espinosa was killed in a car accident at around 2:12 a.m. along the North Freeway.
Authorities from Harris County Sheriff’s Office were called out to the scene along I-45 in the 12900 block of the freeway. Preliminary investigation suggests that the victim, Miranda Espinosa, was riding passenger in a northbound vehicle when she somehow fell out of the vehicle onto the roadway. The circumstances of her exit are unclear, but moments after she fell a second northbound vehicle struck her and caused fatal injuries.
Miranda Espinosa was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
Details about the driver of the vehicle Espinosa was in are unavailable except to say they stayed at the scene and spoke with authorities. the second driver who hit Espinosa may have left the scene. No other information can be confirmed at this time pending further investigations.
