Houston, TX — November 29, 2022, Mimi Ebony Lee and one other were injured in a car accident around 7:51 a.m. on S. Post Oak Rd. in Houston.
According to officials, Ms. Lee was headed southbound in a Honda CR-V when a Toyota Corolla, also heading southbound, purportedly failed to yield the right of way while exiting a private driveway and the two vehicles collided. Reports show the driver-side of the Corolla’s nose struck the CR-V’s front passenger-side corner.
Both Mimi Lee and the Corolla driver reportedly suffered incapacitating injuries and were taken to a medical center.

The speed limit for S. Post Oak Dr. is 45 mph and the other driver was allegedly pulling out of a driveway, so it jumped out to me that both drivers had serious injuries. Why would Ms. Lee suffer the same severity of injuries as a person sitting right behind where the collision occurred? Hopefully, someone can examine the crash with this question in mind.
