Hays County, TX — June 25, 2023, Miguel Diaz Ayala and Juan Solis Betancourt were injured following a car accident at around 12:31 a.m. on Goforth Road.

Initial details released about the crash say that it was a single-vehicle wreck in the area of Goforth Road (County Road 157) and Bebee Road (County Road 122).

According to officials, 48-year-old Miguel Angel Diaz and 26-year-old Solis Betancourt were passengers in a GMC Terrain that was going southeast along the roadway where Bebee and Goforth meet. While doing so, for reasons unclear, the vehicle went off the road to the left where it overturned.

As a result of the crash, Diaz Ayala sustained injuries described as incapacitating. Betancourt had reportedly non-incapacitating injuries. No other injuries were confirmed. Right now, there is not enough information to confirm the exact cause of the crash. Investigations are ongoing.
