Polk County, TX — September 25, 2023, Michaele Credeur McClintock sustained injuries due to a tractor-trailer accident at 9:19 a.m. on U.S. Highway 59.
Authorities said in their statements that the crash happened along U.S. 59/Home Street at the intersection with Stryker Road.
According to officials, 50-year-old Michaele Credeur McClintock was the driver of a Buick Envision said to be going northbound on the highway approaching Stryker. At the intersection, an 18-wheeler going westbound allegedly failed to yield and turned left to go southbound. Another tractor-trailer which was going southbound reportedly went left to avoid hitting the turning 18-wheeler, but it ended up hitting McClintock’s vehicle head-on.
As a result of the collision, it appears McClintock sustained incapacitating injuries. There did not appear to be any other injuries resulting from the crash. Right now, no further information is available.
