Navigator of the Seas — December 13, 2024, Michael Virgil was killed following an altercation aboard a Royal Caribbean cruise ship in international waters.
Authorities are investigating the death of 35-year-old Michael Virgil, which took place onboard the Navigator of the Seas on Friday. According to official reports, the incident began shortly after leaving the port of San Pedro, CA on its way to Mexico, when for unknown reasons Virgil became involved in a physical altercation with the ship’s security.
After security members subdued Virgil and escorted him to a holding cell, he passed away shortly afterwards from unknown causes. At this stage off the investigation there has been little more information released, particularly in regards to the cause of death.
