Grayson County, TX — June 29, 2023, one person was killed and one other person was injured after a car accident late Thursday along U.S. Highway 69.
Preliminary details about the accident indicate that it took place north of town at the intersection of Sears Road and U.S. Highway 69. Details in initial reports say that a car was making a turn off of Sears onto the highway. While in the northbound lanes of U.S. 69, a northbound vehicle crashed into the car.
As a result of that collision, the driver of the car sustained fatal injuries. Authorities have yet to publicly identify that driver. The driver of the other vehicle was said only to be “not seriously hurt.” Details about that driver are also unavailable at this time. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
