According to those reports, the man who lost his life as a result of this accident has been identified as 38-year-old Michael Schoenherr. Also, the vehicle that struck Schoenherr allegedly fled the scene, the person(s) inside failing to stop and render aid of any sort to the victim. No additional information is currently available. Austin, TX — August 27, 2024, one person was killed following a pedestrian versus car accident around 1:00 a.m. on East Ben White Boulevard service road.
According to authorities, the accident took place on the East Ben White Boulevard service road in the vicinity east of Interstate Highway 35.
Weather and road conditions in the area at the time have not been reported on. The cause of the accident remains unclear.
