According to authorities, Michael Noah Calderon was on foot on State Highway 123 near Redwood, Texas, when the accident took place.

Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, Calderon was struck by an allegedly grey vehicle which had been traveling southbound on S.H. 123. The person(s) in the vehicle reportedly fled the scene, neglecting to stop and render aid of any sort to the victim. Reports state that Calderon incurred fatal injuries due to the accident; he was declared deceased at the scene.

A monetary reward is reportedly being offered in exchange for any information that leads authorities to the apprehension of the hit-and-run suspect. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
