Hays County, TX — March 2, 2024, Michael Knox was injured in a motorcycle versus car accident just after 12:00 noon along Marketplace Avenue.
According to authorities, 60-year-old Michael Knox was traveling on a southwest bound motorcycle on Marketplace Avenue approaching the Kyle Center Drive intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, a northwest bound Ford Ecosport failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign, entering the intersection at an apparently unsafe time. This resulted in a collision between the front-end of the motorcycle and the passenger side of the Ford.
Knox incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the crash. He was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
