Johnson County, TX — April 2, 2024, Michael Edward Janusch, Janicia Alicia Turner, and one other person were injured in a car accident at around 8:00 p.m. along Alsbury Boulevard.
According to authorities, 57-year-old Michael Edward Janusch and 37-year-old Janicia Alicia Turner were traveling in an eastbound Toyota Tundra along Alsbury Boulevard at the John Jones Drive intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for reasons yet to be confirmed, a westbound Lincoln occupied by a 16-year-old girl on Alsbury Boulevard attempted a left turn onto southbound John Jones Drive at an apparently unsafe time, failing to yield the right of way to eastbound traffic. This resulted in a collision between the two vehicles within the intersection.
Turner incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the wreck while Janusch and the girl from the Lincoln suffered reportedly moderate injuries. Each of the victims were transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
