Henderson County, TX — April 22, 2024, Megan Dunn was injured following a car accident just after 9:45 a.m. along Palestine Street.
According to authorities, 47-year-old Megan Dunn was traveling in a northbound Chevrolet Traverse making a left turn from South Palestine Street onto westbound Mack Street when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, an eastbound Ford F-150 pickup truck at the stop sign on Mack Street started making a left turn onto Palestine before the Traverse had finished making its turn, failing to yield the right of way at a stop sign. This resulted in a collision between the front-left corner of the pickup truck and the left side of the Traverse.
Dunn suffered reportedly severe injuries as a result of the wreck; she was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
