Harris County, TX — December 30, 2022, Mateo Choe was killed in a pedestrian-car accident around 6:13 p.m. on State Highway 249 in Harris County.

Crash investigators report a Toyota Tundra and a Honda Accord were headed northwest along Hwy. 249 when they both hit Mateo Choe one after the other. Authorities believe Choe was attempting to cross the highway on foot when the collisions occurred.

Mateo Choe suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. No other injuries were reported.
