Waco, TX — May 4, 2023, Mary Lou Rodriguez and one other were injured after a car accident just before 8:00 a.m. along Texas Central Parkway.
Authorities said in initial statements on the crash that it happened in the area of the Texas Central Parkway and Gateway Boulevard intersection.
According to officials, 41-year-old Mary Lou Rodriguez was in a Chevy Silverado traveling southbound along Central Parkway. While crossing Gateway, police believe that an eastbound Nissan Rogue failed to regard a stop sign, causing it to crash into the side of Rodriguez’s Chevy.
As a result of the crash, Rodriguez sustained injuries believed to be incapacitating. The other driver, unidentified at this time, had injuries described as non-incapacitating. Currently, no further information about the crash can be confirmed pending additional investigations.
