Dallas County, TX — March 14, 2024, Mary Mitchell, Dina Mitchell, and three others were injured in a car accident just after 1:00 p.m. along Town East Boulevard.
According to authorities, a 72-year-old woman was traveling in a southbound Chevy pickup truck exiting a parking lot attempting to cut eastbound across the westbound lanes Town East Boulevard in the vicinity of the Willowglen Drive intersection when the accident took place.

The pickup truck managed to get across the westbound lanes safely, but entered the eastbound lanes at an apparently unsafe time. This resulted in a collision between the Chevy and an eastbound Ford F-150 pickup truck occupied by a 71-year-old man. The collision caused the Ford to veer south, mounting the curb and crashing into a telephone pole on the east corner of the intersection. The Chevy swerved southeast, jumped the curb, and crashed through a sidewall, barreling into a private residence. There, it reportedly struck Mary Mitchell, Dina Mitchell, and a one-year-old girl.
All three of the pedestrians who were hit incurred suspected severe injuries as a result. The man and woman from the pickup trucks sustained reportedly moderate injuries, as well. All victims were transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment.
