An investigation is underway into a car accident that left one person injured during the morning hours of October 2nd. According to official reports, Martha Romo was travelling in a Nissan Kicks on Lake Houston Pkwy in the northbound lanes, near Maxey Rd. when a Chevy Equinox coming from the rear failed to maintain their distance and speed and struck Romo from behind.
As a result of the impact, both vehicles sustained damage, and when first responders arrived on the scene, they found that Romo had sustained serious injuries and transported her to the hospital for treatment.
