Accident Report
Houston, TX — February 28, 2026, Martha Carrillo was killed in a hit-and-run accident at about 8:50 p.m. in the 8500 block of Beechnut Street.
Authorities said an eastbound gray or silver pickup ran a red light at South Gessner Road and hit a pedestrian in the crosswalk. It also collided with a BMW X40 before driving away.
The pedestrian, 67-year-old Martha Carrillo, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, according to authorities.
No other injuries were reported.
Authorities have not released any additional information about the Harris County crash at this time. The accident is still under investigation.
