Bell County, TX — March 1, 2024, a woman was killed in a pedestrian versus car accident at approximately 7:30 p.m. along South 31st Street.
According to authorities, a 58-year-old woman was on foot on South 31st Street in the vicinity between Canyon Creek Drive and Winchester Drive when the accident occurred.
The causal factors that led to the accident are still unclear. Officials indicate that the woman, who was struck by a motor vehicle, incurred reportedly critical injuries as a result. She was transported to a local hospital by emergency medical services in order to receive immediate treatment. However, she was ultimately unable to overcome the extent of her injuries, having there been declared deceased.
