San Antonio, TX — May 6, 2023, Mariah Alvarez and another person were injured after a semi-truck accident that happened at 3:18 a.m. on Spring Grove Drive.
Authorities indicated that the crash took place in the area of the Spring Grove Drive and Spring Rain Drive intersection.
Details from authorities suggest that 26-year-old Mariah Star Alvarez and an unidentified 22-year-old woman were in a Pontiac that was going westbound along Spring Grove. For reasons that cannot currently be confirmed, the vehicle hopped the curb and went off-road. Doing so, the vehicle then crashed into a parked, unoccupied semi-truck that was along the roadway.
Due to the collision, the unidentified woman in Alvarez’s vehicle had injuries described as incapacitating. Alvarez’s condition was not specified. It appears there were not other injuries. Right now, additional details about the crash are pending further investigations.
