Gillespie County, TX — April 2, 2025, Maria Parra was killed as the result of a vehicle versus pedestrian accident at around 9:42 p.m. along U.S. 87.
According to initial details about the accident, it happened a couple miles south of Fredericksburg.

Investigators said that 45-year-old Maria Ines Parra was on foot at the time in the area of southbound lanes of the highway. For reasons which are not confirmed, a southbound Dodge Ram struck Parra. Due to the collision, Maria Parra was killed.
The driver involved reportedly remain at the scene, and no charges have been reported. No further information is available right now.
