San Marcos, TX — June 21, 2023, Mary Jane “Maria” Medina Kestler was killed in a truck accident around 10:30 a.m. on Center Point in San Marcos.
According to officials, the victim’s Honda Accord was heading west on Center Point crossing the intersection with the I-35 SB access road when a southbound Mack truck allegedly ran a red light and struck the Accord. The nose of the semi-truck reportedly struck the passenger side door of the Accord and then purportedly dragged the car across the intersection fully onto the I-35 access road.
Ms. Kestler was fatally injured while the truck driver was reportedly unharmed.
