Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
One driver leaving the scene is bad enough, but two makes it even more important to keep these details in the public eye as much as possible. That’s especially true if one of them was a commercial vehicle, possibly from a local business still out there on the road. The community is one of the best tools investigators have with hit-and-runs, as someone is often able to connect the dots and help authorities identify the suspects. That way, steps can be taken to ensure there is accountability and closure for the victim’s loved ones.
