Rusk County, TX — September 12, 2024, Marc Matulich was injured following a car accident that occurred around 3:43 P.M. on SH-42.
An investigation is underway into a car accident that left one person injured during the afternoon hours of September 12th. According to official reports, Marc Matulich was travelling in a Chevy Suburban on SH-42 in the north bound lanes, at the CR 473 intersection, when a Chevy Silverado failed to yield the right-of-way when turning onto SH-42 from CR 472 and struck Matulich.
As a result of the impact, both vehicles sustained significant damage. When first responders arrived on the scene, they found that Matulich had sustained serious injuries and transported him to the hospital. At this time there has been no further information released about the accident, including the status of Matulich’s injuries and whether any charges or citations will be filed.
