Ward County, ND — June 14, 2023, Marc Horning was killed in a collision with a semi-truck around 1:40 p.m. on Highway 83 in Ward County.
Authorities report the victim’s pickup truck was eastbound on Highway 23 crossing the intersection with Highway 83 when the pickup allegedly collided with a southbound Freightliner semi-truck. The impact reportedly forced both vehicles out of the intersection to the southeast.
Mr. Horning suffered fatal injuries and was purportedly pronounced deceased at the crash scene.
Investigators have not released what factors led up to the accident.
