How Did This Accident Occur?
In my line of work, it’s important to keep an open mind when looking into car accidents, particularly fatal ones. This may be an instance where the driver was distracted or fatigued, but we can’t rule out the possibility that a tire defect or software failure caused the crash.
A thorough investigator will comb through evidence at the scene, data from the car’s engine control module and any available witness statements or video footage to determine what caused this vehicle to crash. That will provide answers for the driver’s family, the most important thing they can get in the wake of their loved one’s death.
