How Did This Accident Occur?

Based on what authorities have shared so far, we don’t know how this crash happened. One of the vehicles probably crossed the center line before the collision, but we don’t know which one. We also don’t know why that vehicle moved into oncoming traffic.

It could have been due to driver inattention, a vehicle malfunction or some other reason, but we won’t know until the investigation is completed.

I’ve seen enough commercial vehicle accidents to reserve judgment until that time.
