Dallas, TX — July 26, 2023, Luis Diosdado Munoz was killed as the result of a paleta cart versus vehicle accident at 9:00 p.m. on Buckner Boulevard.
Investigators with the Dallas Police Department released few details concerning the fatal collision. It appears the incident took place off the intersection of Buckner Boulevard and Loma Garden Avenue.
According to officials, 51-year-old Luis Diosdado Munoz, a local paletero, was pushing his paleta cart along the roadway at the time. Due to events which are unclear, a Ford F-150 traveling along the roadway struck Munoz.
Due to the collision, Munoz sustained injuries which proved to be fatal. Details about the driver involved are unclear, and authorities did not clarify if the driver remained at the scene. Information about the fatal accident is still under investigation.
