Fort Worth, TX — February 21, 2023, Loney Bishop was killed in a pedestrian-car accident around 9:36 p.m. at I-35 frontage road and E. Berry St. in Fort Worth.
Sources report Mr. Bishop was walking west across the I-35 frontage road intersecting with E. Berry St. when he was struck by a GMC Yukon.
Officials report the Yukon was initially behind a Honda Civic that allegedly slowed down when its driver saw the victim crossing the street. The Yukon purportedly merged into a lane to the left of the Civic, saw Mr. Bishop, attempted to merge back into the right lane, but struck both the pedestrian and the Honda Civic.
Loney Bishop was reported transported to a hospital but was later pronounced deceased due to the injuries from the crash. No other injuries were reported.
