Hopefully investigations into this crash aren’t being too narrow. I can’t begin to count how often folks have called us after a single-vehicle wreck because even authorities jumped to conclusions without considering unusual or complex possible factors. For example, there can be defects. Drivers can have medical conditions. Sometimes people are illegally over-served by alcohol providers. The roadway itself can cause accidents if it’s poorly maintained or designed. Without thorough investigations, those details can easily slip through the cracks. That’s why there may still be a lot more to this situation than people may realize. It’s ultimately up to the evidence to say that for certain.
