According to authorities, 20-year-old Kylie Walker was traveling in a Ford F-250 pickup truck on S.H. 35 at the County Road 374 intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a Peterbilt truck with a trailer in tow on C.R. 374 entered the intersection at an apparently unsafe time, failing to yield the right-of-way to highway traffic at a stop sign. This resulted in a collision between the Peterbilt and the pickup truck. Walker suffered reportedly serious injuries over the course of the accident, according to reports.
