Royal Palm Beach, FL — April 13, 2023, Kyle Dougherty was killed and Jorge Fallas Abarca was injured around 4:40 a.m. on Crestwood Blvd. in Royal Palm Beach.
According to officials, Kyle Dougherty’s westbound Honda HRV was attempting a left turn from Crestwood Blvd. to travel southbound on Forest Hill Blvd. While in the intersection Mr. Dougherty’s SUV collided with Jorge Fallas Abarca’s semi-truck headed eastbound on Crestwood Blvd.
The semi-truck purportedly hit the SUV on the passenger side door in a T-bone accident.
Mr. Dougherty was killed in the accident. Mr. Fallas Abarca was transported to a hospital; the severity of his injuries has not been reported.
Investigators have not released what factors led up to the accident.
